My name is Ilona Pearl Smith. I grew up in Fairfield, CT. I became a drug and alcohol counselor. This was my career for several years. I became a certified nursing assistant as a second career because I enjoyed helping people all of my life. During that time I was helping patients they all had pets. I found myself taking care not only of the patients but also of their pets. Because ,I so loved the animals,as I have all my life I decided to start my own pet sitting business. I have been in business for over 10 years now. I wrote a poem which was published in the International Library of Poetry called " Invoking the Muse" which I would like to share with you it's titled "Your Loving Pets Are your Friends For life."

Your loving pets are your friends forever. Your cats meow and purr to show their love. They rub against your legs and jump into your lap. Your dogs bark to greet you when you get home from work. They have missed you while you were gone. Even your guinea pig will squeal and will scratch their cage when they see you to get a carrot or some lettuce. A pet will love you for their entire life and give you unconditional love without asking.
I love all animals and I am grateful for the opportunity to help you give yours the best of care. I love my pets and I will love yours too.
